I have a pair of black suede bit loafers as well. Mine are Shipton & Heneage. Yours look like Gucci possibly? I have yet to purchase Hackett's book, is it any good?
Richard ~ Yes, those are Gucci, a pair in suede with lug sole. I've had them for quite a while. I've worn out a pair of the standard calf version, but these have stayed the course probably because I'm more careful with them. I want to get a pair of black Guccis with the ribbon snaffle bit, this summer.
