Anon @04:30 ~ It depends on your budget. I've stayed at the Montage Resort, Surf & Sand Resort, and Hotel Laguna. Montage is best, IMO, if you can swing it. I've also been to the St Regis resort a number of times. It's in Dana Point, not too far from Laguna Beach.
Lock & Co in St. James is the place to go for hats, caps, cokes
