Ah, bless him, never let an ideology stand in the way of a truth... or at least the truth as he saw it. I rather prefer him to his dad.
A complex and interesting man. Imet him once when i worked briefly at Heywood Hill's bookshop on Curzon Street in London. He had a gaze that made the chandeliers rattle. I was nineteen and terrified.
So where is the praise?
