  5. Great book. First ran across it whilst recovering from too much sun and er.... tonic, yes it must have been the sugars in the tonic, at a friend's.

    And steady on old man, we've got some faults, but we'll work through them. I hope. There is an American Ideal, which, if we can live up to it, is a magnificent thing.

    I agree. We have, and Had so much potential (being an east-side Detroiter), and yes, we are all owned, whether one is in the US, UK, EU, or Republic of China. Reality sucks, but we can try as a true global population to again become owners of ourselves to change that.. I say buy local, buy less, and Buy Better. One can always try, and then, potentially celebrate what we could be or have.
