I recent years I've seen certain guys--gigolo wannabes--wearing suit vests as if they were male dancers. I shun this.
I remember my father [who worked on Wall Street] and his friends wearing three-piece Brooks Brothers and Southwick suits throughout the 1970s to early 1980s.
I've never worn one because of those night club rejects. I grouped them with those 'guys' that wear black suits with black shirt and black tie. How edgy!
Never been big on the vest.
