On the Nigerian Affair
Let it be known henceforth that I shall be abstaining from 21-year-old blonde hotties, innumerable bottles of Veuve Clicquot, and weekend excursions to St Barts until those poor little African-American girls are returned to their rightful owners. Let the deprivations commence.

of course that doesn't rule out 22 year old hotties, and numerable bottles of plonk, and trips to other islands. moderation in everything, especially sacrifice and abstention.
they are not Americans - they are Africans
I assume that the Admiral was trying to be polite by referring to the damsels in distress as "African-Americans” rather than using the appelation we used to use for members of that particular race.
This was a distasteful post. No no need to make light of the situation. Do you have a daughter?--not one you know of, I'm sure. Being a mother of two daughters, I cringe at the thought of what is happening and what could happen to those girls.
Post would be more effective with a photo of someone holding a page scrawled with someone's twitter post whilst at the same time looking up at the camera with very sad-looking eyes and a big pout on one's face.
Given that the person described above is in her position given she is married to the American president and the page refers to "our girls", I assumed these poor Nigerians were originally from across the Pond
