I took an almost identical picture on that very spot twenty years ago this week! I caught a game of croquet. Glad some traditions survive.
My garden backs onto a lawn bowling club;I love the thunk of the bowls hitting each other and the chitter chatter of the white clad bowlers carrying through the air to my conservatory on a warm summer's night.
