Hello from Melbourne. I loved your "Book lovers..." section and the attached pics. Not sure of if there's a blog responder's ettiquette, but I'd like to ask a question. You haven't written anything about hedge funds being blamed for the 'world financial crisis'. Are you angry with what has taken place or don't you think your blog is an appropriate forum? Best wishes, Ian from Downunder
"In every battle the eyes are the first to be conquered..."
- Tacitus, Germania
"One must work in solitude as a man who opens a clearing in virgin forest, sustained by the unique hope that somewhere in its depths, others are working to the same end."
- Ernst Jünger
"I find that I must go handsomely, whatever it costs me, and the charge will be made up in the fruit it brings."

So many books...so little time.
Wow! Who contrived your library? Hollister Hovey?
Aspirational libraries like those remind us how little we actually know.
If I had a library like that, I'd never want to go to bed.
There can never be too much books.
