Everyone is ethnic!
Yes, technically everyone is ethnic, but in an American context, "ethnic" means a member of a minority group.
In the rapidly changing American context, the historic American majority population also has an ethnic identity, in fact many of them!
This is one of several of Mr. Scruton's books that are in my home library. I was pleasantly surprised to discover that he resides not far from me. I also enjoyed his documentary regarding beauty available on YouTube. Thanks for the pointer again. I think that his excplications are important to transport certain, very important truths to the frustrated and both emotionally as well as spiritually impoverished 'serfs' of the modern world.
I read this a few months ago and just rediscovered it whilst doing a spot of dusting today, such a great book.
