Marrying rich Americans wasn't a tradition. It was a moment in time. It was a financial necessity ( that served both sides!), and allowed the British aristocracy to maintain their generations of traditions.

I like what she said about Italians not being too picky. That made me laugh.
Too many Americans don't understand the importance of most things as evidenced by the last election.
