Anon @ 19:34 ~ Possibly. The likely inspiration for more recent versions to be sure. The current 'World's Most Interesting Man' featured in the televisual and radio advertisements for Mexican lager lives on a 42' yacht in Marina del Ray in Los Angeles. But I can't say much more than that.
OK ... this is a bit insane ... but as a kid I skied with this guy at Bromley, I think we called him Mr. Schweppes. If that makes any sense.
LBF I remember reading somewhere that the Commander and Ogilvy were inspirations for the current most interesting man. I must also apologize for continually posting as Anon. Cheers,
