I just bought this book. It's an excellent guide to younger people who've grown up without a culture, and thus absolutely no idea why manners are important, or why there are certain standards that should be adhered to. It's also an excellent refresher for older people such as myself.
"In every battle the eyes are the first to be conquered..."
- Tacitus, Germania
"One must work in solitude as a man who opens a clearing in virgin forest, sustained by the unique hope that somewhere in its depths, others are working to the same end."
- Ernst Jünger
"I find that I must go handsomely, whatever it costs me, and the charge will be made up in the fruit it brings."

any book which extols the virtues of marriage and religion makes me think of the number 451.
