This kind of classic combo is now as rare as good taste.

My guess would be J. Press on the necktie and (non-iron?)Brooks Brothers on the shirt.

Am I right, or do I need a refresher course in sleuthing?

MLS,

I'm old enough to remember when Ronnie Reagan pronounced his last name Ree-gan.
(The first syllable rhymed with tea or sea or flea).

I can assure you that in his 40's (or in the 40's), he never dressed this well.

Not all that difficult:

a) I have the same J.Press tie. (Red White and Blue is a hard-to-find true classic).

b) No matter how hard one presses (or how matter starch one uses, iT2s impossible to iron the placket that flat on a must-iron shirt. The Brothers Brooks non-irons have the flattest plackets in my wardrobe. What I couldn't decide from the photo was whether the fabric is pinpoint oxford or broadcloth. I would guess the latter. I would also guess a forward point or tab collar.
