Ah yes, this was a recent photograph of my brief easter vacation spent in the company of my closest friends Ludo and Tarquin. I am lounging under the red and white canopy struggling to light my Julietta against the beastly Portuguese winds, cursing syclla and charbydis for shipwrecking us without a decent bottle of bloody bourbon. Luckily the crew have fanned out in search of Chateau d'YQuem, Laduree macaroons and a small gypsy boy to caper for us.
"In every battle the eyes are the first to be conquered..."
- Tacitus, Germania
"One must work in solitude as a man who opens a clearing in virgin forest, sustained by the unique hope that somewhere in its depths, others are working to the same end."
- Ernst Jünger
"I find that I must go handsomely, whatever it costs me, and the charge will be made up in the fruit it brings."

Nice pics, have a friend who bought a house on the Algarve coast (he loves to wind-surf); I myself will check out for Sicily from next week...
