AN ESSAY IN ATTITUDES
Vistas like that almost make me weep. There is no comparable beauty.
"The desert was held in a crazed communism by which nature and the elements were for the free use of every known friendly person for his own purposes and no more."T.E. Lawrence, Seven Pillars of Wisdom, 1922I can never seem to be rid of the sand between toes nor do I care to. It is a reminder.
I've been in a desert (various ones of North America, Middle East, Central Asia) for some years now....quite peaceful.
