It used to be, in my day, one did not wear a stripe with a stripe. This looks very nice because the striped shirt has a very fine stripe with a solid tie.
Better this way although I am unsure about the collar being all white. I never have liked those.

Had the opportunity to meet him 30 odd years ago in Washington DC he was part of Baker Furniture's Stately Homes of England collection promotional tour of US home design centers across the states.
