Admiral, what a lovely piece! It's interesting how we choose to equipt and adorn our lower most extremity has such a connection with the opposite end. How the mind and the feet reflect each other, completes a circle if you see what I mean?
But I guess the truly obsessed would prefer the "real Lobb" in St James' Street to the Dumas family's French Lobb incarnation, albeit the latter does produce a fine shoe. Not a proper old London bootmaker though...
